A LET GO, LET GOD MEDITATION PRACTICE

Every meditation technique has a purpose. One way to view meditation in AA is to practice the third step - Letting go , letting God.

What do we let go of that causes us to be agitated or doubtful? Is it not our plans and expectations that are mostly unmet or delusional?

“And they plan, but God plans. And God is the best of planners.”.
(Qur’an 8:30)

Remembering that God is in charge, and I am not is the key to a peaceful heart.

Therefore meditation can be viewed as the practice of letting go of expectations and plans and trusting God.

PRACTICE - LETTING GO; LETTING GOD

We are already surrendered. We can stop pretending otherwise anytime. Why not now?
