A return to sanity meditation

“Listen; this world is the lunatic’s sphere,
Don’t always agree it’s real,
even with my feet upon it and the postman knowing my door,
My address is somewhere else.”

Purpose ... SANITY
Mechanism Noticing insanity

Through noticing and letting go of what is causing insanity we come to sanity: That is, to see God's creation just as He deemed it to be, not as we think it ought to be which, for most of us, is completly insane.

Insanity is simply a learning disorder. The first step in learning something new is to let go of beliefs that are no longer valid.

We start each meditation session by reminding ourselves of our intention: SANITY by BY LETTING GO OF INSANITY

Begin by taking a couple of deep breaths and then just relax into stillness. As thoughts, emotions, or body sensations arise we first just notice them. We don't push anything away or grab onto anything whether it is pleasant or unpleasant.

After noticing each thought or emotion or body sensation, we say to ourselves mentally "NOT TRUE" and then gently focus our attention on our breath. Apply this technique to every thought, emotion, or body sensation - at this stage we treat everything that is thought or felt as NOT TRUE

You might feel your breath in your chest, stomach, or even in your nostrils. Repeat this process (notice - say mentally NOT TRUE - focus on breath) for twenty minutes.

Do this without fail each morning and each evening. Twenty minutes is the time at which time the brain begins to change neurologically.

Always take what you get from each session remembering that God is leading.

Barriers to a good practice

Remember God will guide if you will let Him.
Meditation is just barrier removal - removing how we think it ought to be and coming to see how it is as God created it:

You will come to see that you need do nothing to get out of a problem you don’t have.

May the Lord shower you with His mercy and bless your affairs with His guidance.
