Aligning with Truth Meditation

Is it other than God's religion [monotheism] that you seek, when all who are in the heavens and the earth have submitted to Him, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him, they will be returned?
– Quran 3:83

the cause of suffering

Purpose ... to align with Truth
Mechanism ... remembering what is True.

We start each meditation session by reminding ourselves of our intention: Remembering Who is in control

Begin by taking a couple of deep breaths and then just relax into stillness. As thoughts, emotions, or body sensations arise we just notice them. We don't push them away or grab onto them whether they are pleasant or unpleasant.

After noticing each thought or emotion or body sensation, we say to ourselves mentally "Thy will be done - Thank You" and then gently return your attention to your breath.

You might feel your breath in your chest, stomach, or even in your nostrils. Repeat this process (notice - say "Thy will be done - Thank You - focus on breath) for about one minute longer than is comfortable. The goal is to get to about 20 minutes at which time the brain begins to change neurologically.

Always take what you get from each session remembering that God is leading.

Barriers to a good practice

Remember God will guide if you will let Him.
Meditation is just barrier removal - removing how we think it ought to be and coming to see how it is as God created it:

You will come to see that you need do nothing to get out of a problem you don’t have.

May the Lord shower you with His mercy and bless your affairs with His guidance.
